Make it at home and you know where it's been, zero (or very low) food miles, less chemicals in the environment, less chemicals in you.
Make it plastic free, no superfluous packaging, in fact it'll be lucky to get to the packaging stage, because, YUM!

(Add some home made Sourdough, a glass of Kombucha and you're done! Happy belly! And the cost of this feast? Some milk, some tea, some sugar - for the yeast not for you, flour and culture. It's all about the culture for the happy tummy part! The satisfaction of creating your own is the best, hard to quantify, easy to recognise.)

The Specialty Cheese Kit contains all the equipment and ingredients to get you started, including the same speciality mould spores and cultures as used by small, European artisan producers. So you can be sure your cheese will be full of flavour and ripened to perfection.

Time: Depending on the cheese you're making, anywhere between 1 and 5 hours per recipe (does not include maturing time of min. 3 weeks)
Quantity: Approx. 40 x 175 g cheeses. Yes, 40 cheeses. That's a lot of cheese!

Cultures included in this kit will be fine during postage, however, we suggest storing cultures in the freezer when you get them in order to prolong the life of the culture.
