How to Shop With Eco at Home
Register and Login Prior to shopping online, you may wish to register with us. This will mean that on future visits you simply need to log on with your email address and password. If registered, when you login, your details need not be re-filled on the purchase form and relevant discounts are applied automatically. To make shopping with us as convenient and easy as possible, we currently offer the following three options: 1. Shop Online – automatic order placement, arrange payment, we send out your purchases Go to the shop by clicking the ‘Online Store’ link at the top of the page. You can browse through our products using the index on the left, the ‘more details’ link or the search function. Select items to purchase by putting in the quantity then clicking the ‘Buy’ button. You will see a summary of your purchases at the top of the page (number and total). At any time you can view the details of your purchases by clicking the ‘View Details’ link at the top of the page. You can change the quantities on this page, then ‘Click to Update’.
Click your browser ‘Back’ button to continue shopping as before. Once you are happy with your selections, select ‘Check Out’. A form appears, type in your details where required. You may on the same page elect to receive a discount, our newsletter and special offers. Completing all of the details also registers you, so that on future visits you simply need to log on with your email address and password. Once completed click ‘Click to continue your purchase’ The next page presents the details of your purchases. You may still change the quantities purchased on this page. Click the ‘click to update’ button when you have completed your changes. When you are satisfied with the revised details, click the ‘click to confirm your purchase’ button. A summary of your purchases appears, and advice that a confirmation email for your records has been sent to you. We will call you to arrange payment. 2. Browse Online – telephone, fax or email your order, arrange payment, we send out your purchases 3. Payment We accept Visa and Mastercard. No record of your card details is kept on our system after your order is processed. Payment by cheque will of course delay the dispatch of purchases until the cheque is cleared. Cheques to be made out to ‘Eco at Home’.
Delivery We aim to deliver within 7 days, usually 3 working days. We will advise if there is any delay due to stock shortage. From time to time, some products may be in short supply or may be discontinued, we will advise you as soon as possible. We use either a courier or Registered Australia Post depending on destination and receiver’s requirements. You will be advised which service will be delivering your purchases. You will be required to sign for goods received. If no-one is at home, the delivery service will leave a card explaining how to arrange delivery or pick-up of the parcel. You may find it most convenient to have the purchases delivered to a work or business hours address. Postage and handling charges are: Sydney metro $8.00
NSW regional $10.00 Other States $13.00 For large (bulky and/or heavy items) or special deliveries, we will call you if additional charges apply.
Express delivery can be organized after determining any additional charges. Packaging To contain costs and reduce environmental impact, we re-use packaging materials wherever possible. Recycled or recyclable materials are used where re-useable packaging is unavailable. Tax Note that all our prices include the Government’s 10% GST Returns and Refunds If your purchase is not up to your expectations, please return the product in good order and in it’s original packaging and in saleable condition within 10 days of receiving it. Include a copy of your invoice. We will refund you the price of the product (excluding delivery charges). If the product is damaged, please advise us immediately. Send the product back to us with a copy of your invoice, we will replace it at no charge and fully refund the return postage.
If the product is faulty or does not perform as it should, we honour manufacturer’s stated guarantees and warrantees. Terms of Sale Eco at Home will dispatch purchases when full payment is received, purchases remain the property of Eco at Home until that time. We accept no liability arising from the items purchased other than our commitment to accept returns and offer refunds as stated above. Liability for any damages arising as a consequence of using the products as intended rests with the manufacturer. The manufacturer’s warranty and/or guarantee is as stated on the product.
