EcoTanka stainless steel water bottles are an ideal way to replace plastic drinking bottles (which can leak dangerous chemicals into your drinking water).
All bottles and lids are non-leaching, non-toxic and BPA free!
EcoTanka bottles from Eco at Home are made with solid food-grade 304 stainless steel (the same as metal kitchen appliances and utensils). Unlike other metal bottle brands available, ecoTanka bottles are not lined with any kind of plastic or other material. This makes them super safe for you and your children to use.
Why use a metal bottle?
The smooth surface of stainless steel has less pores and cracks to harbour germs.
If kept in the shade or in a cover the metal should keep your water/other drinks cool.

By purchasing your own bottle and refilling it (rather than buying more plastic), you can reduce the use of non-renewable resources and prevent pollution - Plastic bottles in landfill can take up to 1000 years to break down!
Stainless steel is recyclable! By the end of your bottle's long and fruitful life, it can be re-used in other stainless steel products
Stainless steel is safer than aluminium - Aluminium can leach harmful substances, so for it to be safe as a drink bottle it has to be lined with something (often plastic resins or baked-on epoxy, which can leach chemicals and retain flavours)
EcoTanka bottles can be washed in the dishwasher or with baking soda and warm water, and can be sterilised with boiling water.
EcoTanka bottles are available in a number of different sizes tailored to many different uses, and several different cap styles are available. Caps are constructed with stainless steel and/or polypropylene plastic.
