Santens produces a range of quality towels and bathrobes made from...bamboo! This is a great environmental choice because bamboo requires little water and no pesticides to grow, it reshoots from where it's been cropped and grows very fast. Bamboo is a viable alternative to cotton, which is extremely water, fertiliser and pesticide-hungry.
On top of this, bamboo towelling is incredibly soft and durable. It can absorb up to three times it's weight in water!
