The first issue addressed here is the huge increase in bottled water consumption and  the resultant waste.
 
The second part of this issue are the concerns that have been raised regarding plastics (BPA - BisPhenol A) leaching into our food/drinks.
 
These problems have led us to source a stainless steel drink bottle.
 
We have roadtested (and schooltested) these ecoTanka bottles and can assure you that they stand up to the toughest treatment.
 
They are made from high quality food grade 304 stainless steel. (A strong magnet sticks to them.) And of course they are entirely BPA free.

• The Supa is 1200ml – for the active person or a family.
  
• The Sports is 800ml – a good High School size.
  
• The Mini is 600ml (the size of most commercially available water bottles) – a good size for Primary School.
  
• The Tiny is 350ml (about the volume of a can of soft drink) – a great size for handbags, or for toddlers.
  

Each bottle is available with either a sports lid or a steel lid (or a sipper adaptor).

The lids are all the same size, and are interchangable.

We stock ‘spare parts’ for those who are prone to misplacing or biting lids.
There are three different lids available: 
 

the sports top, 

 a stainless steel lid or
 

a sipper adaptor (which fits the standard sipper tops, also available here)

NOTE: We chose these bottles because

• they have a wide mouth - easy to drink from and easy to clean, and
• because they are not painted - paint scratches off stainless steel and they look ratty quickly and
• because they are stainless steel inside, not lined with some unidentifiable coating.
