KALDET Transparent Wood Stain No. 270 is a decorative, water resistant and water vapor permeable coating, which is suitable for all solid wood in the interior as well as for veneers, OSB and the various Multiplex qualities. Exceptions are all walking ways, e.g. floors and deckings.

KALDET Transparent Wood Stain reinforces the natural color of the wood grain. It can be obtained in 15 different colors. The colors white, spruce and clear are suitable only for the interior. Samples of our existing colors can be found on the colour chart. Colours are: White, Spruce, Pine, Boxwood, Brazil, Dark Teak, Oak, Walnut, Rosewood, Light Grey, Ultramarine Blue, Country Blue, Green and Ebony.

KALDET Transparent Wood Stain can be applied with all conventional methods as well as with spraying, dipping or with a roller. After priming the dry wood with a suitable LIVOS product KALDET is applied two or three times. By application, the room temperature should be at least 12°C.

The dried stain complies with German Industrial Norm (DIN) 53 160, fast to perspiration and saliva and with DIN EN 71 Part 3 certified as suitable for toys.
