There are many cloth nappies on the market from which to choose. We got plenty of feed-back from discerning mothers, pulled samples apart, tested for absorbency and researched each supplier in a rigorous review of fit, performance, value and sustainability. We only stock one brand, Baby Beehinds.
Baby Beehinds fitted nappies are shaped like a disposable and have mess containing elastic around the legs and back. They close with adjustable snaps. Baby Beehinds fitted nappies are a one-size-fits-most design, meaning they fit most babies from newborn to toddler (about 3.5kg up). No need to purchase new sizes as baby grows!
Baby Beehinds fitted nappies are available in either hemp or bamboo, both are better for the environment and more absorbent than plain cotton. As they are made from natural fibres, they are breathable and keep baby cool. A water-resistant PUL nappy cover is needed over the top of this nappy, or Eenee water-proof pull-on pants. Included here are Eenee disposable liners as used by nearly all our cloth nappy mums.
We keep a close eye on the market, but are yet to find a better cloth nappy.
